The XRAY SHARK® is an x-ray device with an integrated conveyor belt. It fully automatically inspects packaged, not packaged or bulk products. It detects contaminants, as well as other individual attributes like completeness, form, mass of the product. It classifies and sorts out faulty products automatically.

XRAY SHARK® XBD10

The XRAY XBD10 is particularly suitable for smaller, packaged food or non-food products contained in jars, boxes, plastic packaging and even metal foils or metal cans. Undesirable contaminants such as metal, stone, ceramic, glass or plastic particles with high density can be detected in the product. The XBD 10 is the most compact x-ray device and therefore highly recommended as an entry-level detection system.

The products flow continuously down the conveyor. The system scans nonstop and captures the X-ray images. These images are then analyzed and if contamination is detected the reject signal is transferred to the output. It is possible to have a series of rejects for a bulk flow system – for example you can have a drop-flap reject mechanism with 4 or 8 reject flaps.

XRAY SHARK® XPB

The XRAY XPB specializes in detecting metal contamination in transformer boards and paperboards. XRAY SHARK® XPB benefits from its ability to handle wide products, with a maximum product width of 3400mm.

Accommodates products with a maximum product width of 3400mm for heights less than 30mm, or a product width of 3200mm for heights between 30mm to 100mm.

The SHARKNET®-2 Software networks all METAL SHARK® metal detectors, checkweighers and x-ray machines with one Windows computer. SHARKNET®-2 simplifies reporting for HACCP, GMP, BRC and IFS compliance. The software collects all the required data and prints out any user defined report requests.
