Per HACCP principles, Metal Detectors are classified as critical control points and continuous checking is required to meet standards. Cassel can integrate a performance validation system (PVS) which automatically prompts the operator to test Metal Detector performance at pre-set intervals.

The conveyor belt, framing and controls are made with sanitary designs for food grade process applications. Product touching parts are made according to FDA food grade quality standards.  Cassel Metal Detectors can be easily adjusted for the best product inspection tasks even under harsh environmental conditions or for conductive products.

Due to the hygienic design, Metal Detector can be easily disassembled for daily rinsing with water or steam hose cleaning.

SHARKNET provides automatic documentation of operational data for metal detectors, checkweighers and x-ray devices.

The SHARKNET®-2 Software networks all METAL SHARK® metal detectors, checkweighers and x-ray machines with one Windows computer. SHARKNET®-2 simplifies reporting for HACCP, GMP, BRC and IFS compliance. The software collects all the required data and prints out any user defined report requests.
